Investors are obliged to submit reports regarding progress of their investment activities in accordance to Law No. 25 year 2007. Investment Progress Reports (LKPM) are periodic reports regarding the actual progress of investment activities including any obstacle that interfere with the activities.
LKPM reports are used for monitoring the realizations of investment and its production. LKPM must contain all company activities in each location and sector of investments, with exception for those investing in trade sectors. For companies that are investing in trade sectors, LKPM that is based on Principle License location is sufficient.

Reporting Timeframe

For companies that are : already registered for investing and/or already has principle license and/or has the investment approval and/or already has the business license are obliged to submit the LKPM periodically to the BKPM chairman via the Deputy of Investment Controlling and Implementation, Head of PDPPM (Province) and Head of PDKPM (Regency/Municipal). For companies that still in development stage of investment, LKPM must be submitted within every 3 months.
  1. Progress report for January-March, much be submitted before April 5th of the same year
  2. Progress report for April-June, much be submitted before July 5th of the same year
  3. Progress report for July-September, much be submitted before October 5th of the same year
  4. Progress report for October-December, much be submitted before January 5th of the upcoming year
For companies that already has business license for investment, LKPM must be submitted in every 6 months (semester).
  1. Progress report for January-June, much be submitted before end of July of the same year
  2. Progress report for July-December, much be submitted before end of January of the upcoming year

Procedure for Submitting the Report

The investment progress report can be submitted via 3 alternatives:
  1. Via the Online Electronic Investment Licensing Service System.
  2. Submitting hardcopy of the report directly to Indonesia Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) or One Stop Shop Investment Service in Province (PDPPM) or One Stop Shop Investment Service in Regency/Municipal (PDKPM) according to its jurisdiction
  3. Email to BKPM Center th
    en bring the Approval to BKPM Regional.
Companies that are failed to submit the investment progress report are subject to administrative sanction that can be resulted in revoked investment license or investment facility.
Procedure of submitting the report is regulated in Regulation Head of Investment Coordinating Board No 3 of 2012 on amendment to Regulation Head of Investment Coordinating Board No 13 of 2009 regarding guidelines and procedures for controlling the implementation of investments.
