BKPM DO "DEBOTTLENECKING" SIX ELECTRICITY PROJECTS




Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) in an attempt to "de-bottlenecking" or facilitation of the six electricity projects that are currently hampered the realization of investments.
"There are some constraints faced by the six electricity project is being facilitated by BKPM, among others, the issue of land acquisition, suitability RUPTL, public protests and guarantee the supply of gas," said Deputy BKPM Investment Planning Tamba Hutapea in a press release received by Antara in Jakarta on Wednesday .
Sixth total capacity of 8.136 MW project consists of four coal-fired power plant project (PLTU) as well as the project of geothermal power plants (PLTP) and a gas power plant project (PLTG).
The projects are located in Jambi, North Sumatra, Central Java, Bali and Batam (Riau Islands).
"In addition to the six projects, it is also possible facilitation of the other power projects that require the attendance of the government to help find solutions to the problems faced investment," said Tamba.
Based on data from BKPM, since trials One Stop Services (OSS) Center on January 15 to 3 February, there are 12 licensing projects proposed electricity through Central PTSP.
Three projects are foreign direct investment (PMA) and nine domestic investment projects (PMDN) with a total capacity of 257.8 MW.
The electrification project consists of six hydropower projects / micro power plants, three solar projects and three power plant projects spread across 11 provinces in North Sumatra, West Sulawesi, Gorontalo, West Nusa Tenggara, West Java, Banten, South Kalimantan, East Nusa Tenggara, Southeast Sulawesi, South Sulawesi and West Sumatra.
Head of BKPM Franky Sibarani said it uses three strategies to accelerate electricity investment to support government programs to build 35,000 MW power plant in five years.
The third strategy of "de-bottlenecking" or facilitate the realization of projects delayed, accelerate electricity through OSS licensing service centers and encourage existing private power company to expand or expansion investment.
"BKPM will continue to oversee the licensing process electrification project in order to fit the processing time or even faster than the current standard operating procedures that apply," he said.
Franky said it continues to coordinate with relevant ministries / agencies to determine the acceleration time from any licensing process in the electricity sector.

"We expect the next three months can already decided acceleration licensing electricity sector," he said.

According to Franky, the agency has received more investment than 10 existing electricity companies to expand investment.

The ten companies that are plan electrification projects with total capacity of 11.369 MW.
